About CDA Tree Service

CDA Tree Service exists because of a pattern every North Idaho homeowner knows: the tree question sits on the to-do list all summer, and then a December windstorm answers it the expensive way.

We’re a local service focused on one county’s trees — the ponderosa and lodgepole pine, Douglas-fir, grand fir, cedar, and holdover farmstead hardwoods of Kootenai County. That focus matters because tree work here is regional in a way most trades aren’t. The beetle pressure on second-growth ponderosa, the root disease that undermines green-looking fir, the wind that accelerates across the Rathdrum Prairie, the saturated winter ground that lets whole root plates tip — these are North Idaho problems, and reading them correctly is most of the job. The cut is the easy part.

How we work

You call, you describe the tree, and you get straight answers: whether it’s actually a hazard or just dramatic-looking, what the work involves, and a written price before anything starts. Small jobs get small-job prices. Storm work gets triaged honestly — structures and access first.

We serve Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Dalton Gardens, Fernan, and the surrounding county.
